   2th Dental Practice is still fairly new to me, having moved to them last year. This appointment was my 6 monthly chekup with the dentist and a clean and descale follwef this with the Hygienist.
On arrival you are welcomed in and sit awaiting your "turn" in the pleasant reception area - the staff talk (generally I should add, not about dentistry!) and customers, albeit small in number, join in and its an engaging and relaxing place to wait.
Once taken through the dentistry staff and pleasant and again talk to you as a human being rather than just another person - a pleasant change I must say from some other practices I've been to in the past.
The examinations were actually pleasant, well as far as these things go anyway; full explanation of what is going to be done, regular small breaks, and whilst yes somethings are a touch painful they let you know if it hurts to raise a hand and they will stop - didn't get to that point (again, a positive), but I would say without doubt if it had they would have stopped.
The most painful part of parting with the cash at the end was easier too as they offer a pay monthly policy which I've now opted into.

   I have attended this dental practice for over three years for twice yearly cleanings and inspections. All the dental care staff are exceptional, while maintaining a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
I have very old reconstructions to my teeth and know that as these fail, expert attention will be available, while the current care and advice is enabling them to last as long as possible.

   This was the first time we had registered with a UK dentist since our return from France where we had lived for 32 years.
We found the staff extremely friendly, professional and welcoming.
They have a very thorough approach to dental care. The care is divided between hygiene and more traditional dentistry and I was impressed by the emphasis on dental health and hygiene.
Also everything was carefully explained with proposed treatments being attributed with useful risk analysis. Also the costing is very clear and all the cost of all items of treatment is thoroughly and clearly explained at the outset.
Everyone at the practice is welcoming and friendly. A big change from what used to be my experience of dentists.
